Mouse Rate 1.0 (c) 1998 Oliver Tscherwitschke This little program measures and displays the mouserate, i.e. how often the mouse sends information to your computer. It just measures the time between two "MW_MOUSEMOVE" messages and calucates the frequency. Tested on Windows 95 and Windows NT. Oliver Tscherwitschke oliver.tscherwitschke@gmx.de PS.: On Win NT there is a registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\i8042prt\Parameters\SampleRate" which could control the rate of a PS/2 Mouse. It defaults to "60". But if I change this, nothing happens, the rate still is 60Hz, at least at my computer. If you know how to change the Mouserate on NT, please let me know.
